All of our adoptable animals go through a quarantine and evaluation period. This allows us to make sure there are no medical or behavioral concerns and also lets us get to know them.
Our adoption process is simple. We prioritize placing animals in the home that fits them best, our goal is to ensure they land in their forever home. We have a thorough adoption screening process and will not cut corners or make exceptions. See our process below:

Fill Out an Application
Within 24-48 hours you will receive a response from OSAR in which we may ask questions about your application or offer guidance on any changes that might need to be made.
Send picture of enclosure and/or supplies. Animal can be put on hold with good faith effort to gather supplies, however we will need to see the compete enclosure including food and extras before approving an application.
Receive feedback or approval from OSAR.
If any other changes need to be made another picture may be required.
Once approved schedule meeting to pick up your new family member.
Pay adoption fee and fill out final paperwork.
Bring your new friend home.

Cucumber is an ADORABLE young male mouse. He is social, active, and the life of the party. You can guarantee he’ll be out and about popcorning around and being a silly little guy. He’s fairly easy to catch and handle for his young age. Born 7-28-26.

Pea is an absolute cutie patootie male mouse who is looking for a future forever home. He is a brave busy body who is always out and about enjoying the different things to do in his enclosure. He’s was the smallest of this litter of boys but has grown quite a bit and definitely has a big personality. His favorite place to nap is the hammock where he can be up high and survey everything. This little cutie gets more confident as the days go by, he started out as our shy guy but his growth has been super impressive! He’ll be looking for a home with some ladies once he heals up from his neuter! Born 8-13-26.

Poppy is an adult female Syrian hamster. She likes to come out and say hello, get a quick snack and pet and return to her quiet burrow. She is most active early in the morning.

Churro is an adult male gerbil that came in with a female that was mis-gendered by a local big box pet store after being surrendered by their owner. They came to us with four babies. Once the babies are old enough, we will pair Churro up with one of his sons. Churro is a little nervous around quick movements, but eagerly takes treats from hands. His new home will need to provide him with an endless supply of chew toys.

Magnolia is an adult female gerbil that came in with Churro after being mis-gendered by a local big box pet store after being surrendered by their previous owner. The pair came to us with four babies and Mama Magnolia is on pregnancy watch for possibly another litter of pups. She is slightly timid but very curious especially when her favorite treats are involved. Her white markings around her front paws are very unique and resemble bracelets. She will be available after pregnancy watch with at least one of her female babies.
